US President Donald Trump criticized the media on Thursday and accused him of misinterpreting remarks he made about the violence in Charlottesville.

Violent clashes broke out between supporters of the theory of white supremacy on the one hand and anti-racist protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, killing one woman and wounding 19 when a suspected Nazi sympathizer drove into his car.

Trump also criticized Senators Lindsey Graham and Jeff Glick of the Republican Party.
